The thermal insulation of the outer wall of the parapet is often neglected in the design. The thermal insulation measures taken for the inner and outer sides of the parapet are helpful to the stability of the parapet and avoid the occurrence of cracks in the parapet wall.
The outer side of the parapet is insulated but the inner side is not insulated, resulting in cracks.
